What is your theological background?
I am part of a fellowship of churches called Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. We are generally pretty conservative doctrinally and are non-denominational.
How long have you been performing weddings?
I performed my first wedding over 42 years ago. Since then I have done over 130 of them including one on the beach, one on a plantation, one on horseback and several outdoors. I have performed weddings for my own kids and for my sister.
What do you like BEST about weddings?
As a minister, it is an honor and a privilege to be invited into people's lives at their most important moments. This includes births, deaths and weddings. Weddings remind us that the family is still important and it is such a wonderful honor to help a couple get started in their new life together.
