What is your theological background?

For the past 24 years I've been part of the Disciples of Christ denomination. For 15 of those years I was a commissioned minister serving primarily rural churches.  The Disciples of Christ identity statement is:  We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ, we welcome all to the Lord's Table as God has welcomed us.  I identify with this identity statement completely and see my role as a person of faith as one of many people being sent by God to help and heal.

How long have you been performing weddings?

I performed my first wedding in 2008 and I've enjoyed doing wedding ceremonies ever since.

What do you like BEST about weddings?

Knowing that I get to be part of such a special and important day not just for the bride and groom but for both of their families as well.  Seeing families celebrate together at the rehearsal, wedding and reception.
